Open Call: EWA Grow Programme 2026
To allow more time for applications, the deadline for the EWA Grow Programme 2026 by EIT Food has been extended.
SocialTech Lab, as the EIT Food Country Representative for Cyprus and a member of the EIT Community Hub Cyprus, invites applications to the EWA Grow Programme 2026.
This six-month programme supports women entrepreneurs in the agrifood sector across Europe, including Cyprus, by providing the tools, network, and resources needed to develop and grow innovative business ideas.
About the Programme
EWA Grow is designed to support women at early stages of their entrepreneurial journey in agrifood. The programme combines structured training, individual mentoring, and access to a European innovation ecosystem.
Participants will engage in a series of activities including expert-led sessions, weekly mentoring, matchmaking opportunities, and a final Demo Day where selected participants will present their ventures.
The programme runs from May to November 2026.
Who Should Apply
The call is open to women based in Cyprus who:
- Are developing a business idea in the agrifood sector, or
- Are founders of early-stage startups (registered within the last three years)
Eligible projects may address different segments of the agrifood value chain, including:
- Sustainable agriculture and food production
- Food innovation and product development
- Circular economy approaches, including food waste reduction
- Agri-tech and food-tech solutions
- Supply chain, logistics, and digital tools supporting food systems
What the Programme Offers
Selected participants will receive:
- Weekly one-to-one mentoring sessions
- More than 20 hours of training delivered by sector experts
- Access to EIT Food’s network and innovation ecosystem
- Participation in a final Demo Day
- Financial support of up to €1,000 to cover participation-related costs
- The opportunity to compete for prizes of €10,000 (first place) and €5,000 (second place)
